About Dave
Dave is an Identity Architect at Oxford Computer Group where he designs and delivers complex Identity and Access Management solutions for Oxford's clients. Dave has vast experience with identity management principles and technology (especially Microsoft Identity Lifecycle Manager and associated technology) and directory services. Previously Dave was a freelance technical consultant and writer, specialising in Identity Management (IdM), directories and metadirectories as the editor and chief correspondent of The DIM Report, an IdM newsletter and website (no longer published). Many years before that he was in the Royal Air Force as a communications engineering officer.

He's 40 something (although you wouldn't think so to look at him because of his boyish good looks), based in the UK, and married with 3 children. He likes to play golf, but doesn't get the chance anywhere near as often as he would like.

About This Site
At the moment this site is mainly a handy place for my blog, plus a few other pieces of interesting content like the DIM Report archive and (eventually) a personal photo album and stuff, but eventually I'm hoping to turn into into a resource for people interested in Identity Management and associated topics. If I thought people needed a Forum for Identity Management issues, I might be persuaded to host it here too.

The blog is mainly about Identity Management too and specifically mainly about Enterprise Identity Management (all that User-centric stuff is very interesting but not really that relevant to my day job yet), especially Microsoft ILM/MIIS and associated stuff. It’s also about being an IT consultant, being over 40, male, married with kids, in the UK. I've left comments unmoderated at the moment but might need to change this if I get comment spam.

This site and content is all my own work and does not reflect the opinions of my employers at Oxford Computer Group
